Dr Bridgette McKelvey is an award-winning multimedia artist, educator, designer, writer, photographer and filmmaker.

NZ/ Polynesian roots shape a saltwater obsession and sharing of immersive, traditional practices. Projects innovate stories of Australian identity, social justice, ecology and animals for positive change outcomes.



Bridgette has delivered successive high-impact projects for government, and coordinated/ taught Creative Industries programs and workshops for Brisbane City Council Libraries, QUT, Corrective Services Academy, Brisbane Youth Education and Training Centre, Queensland College of Art and Griffith University. PhD Shadows' shark images were presented to the UNESCO World Heritage Committee in 2012.
